VICTORIA

Water Smart Gardens and Homes Rebate Scheme

The Water Smart Gardens and Homes Rebate Scheme gives you the chance to save water and money inside your home.

600 - 1,999 Litre Tank

  • $150 rebate
  • $150 connection to toilet


2,000 - 4,999 Litre Tank

  • $150 rebate
  • $500 connection to toilet and/or laundry


5,000 Litre Tank or Greater

  • $150 rebate
  • $900 connection to toilet or laundry
  • $1000 connection to toilet and laundry

NEW SOUTH WALES

NSW Rainwater Tank Rebate

The rebate is available for the installation of any new rainwater storage system in residential properties in NSW.

  • $150 rebate
  • $500 connection to toilet(s)
  • $500 connection to washing machine(s)
  • $1,150 maximum total


4,000 - 6,999 Litre Tank

  • $400 rebate
  • $500 connection to toilet(s)
  • $500 connection to washing machine(s)
  • $1,400 maximum total


7,000 Litre Tank or Greater

  • $500 rebate
  • $500 connection to toilet(s)
  • $500 connection to washing machine(s)
  • $1,500 maximum total

Think Water, ACT Water incentive and rebate programs

The ACT Government is offering a range of incentive and rebate programs including WaterSmart Homes and GardenSmart services, as well as rainwater tank rebates.

TASMANIA

Hobart City Rebate Scheme

The Hobart City Council has announced a number of water saving rebates for residential and non-residential customers in an effort to reduce water consumption by 10%

SOUTH AUSTRALIA

Rainwater Tank Rebates
REBATE SUMMARY

You can apply for up to $200 for a new stand alone rainwater tank with a capacity of 1000 litres or more which is not connected to household plumbing.

Terms and conditions for the stand alone rainwater tank
The tank must be purchased on or after 11 March 2010 (as evidenced on the receipt)
The receipt of purchase must be an original
The tank must have a minimum capacity of 1000 litres
Only one stand alone tank rebate is available per property
There is no requirement for the rainwater tank to be connected to household plumbing

Waterwise Rebate Program

This comprehensive rebate scheme offers rebates for garden irrigation products, swimming pool covers, rainwater tanks, flow regulators, washing machines, showerheads and more.

NORTHERN TERRITORY

Waterwise Central Australia Rebate Scheme

Rebates are available from the Northern Territory Government to residents of Alice Springs and Tennant Creek of up $500 for plumbing services.
